About Us

I'm Muriel – passionate motorcyclist and founder of RIDERA Facewear.

The idea for RIDERA Facewear didn't arise with the goal of building a brand. It came from frustration. After countless balaclavas tested, I hadn't found one that I truly enjoyed wearing. Pressure points, shifting fabric, and uncomfortable seams under the helmet were simply part of the deal for many – but not for me.

Instead of continuing to search for the right balaclava, I started developing one myself.

The fact that I could take this path is no coincidence. As a trained Clothing Designer (EFZ), I bring years of experience in clothing development and manufacturing. With my training as a Commercial Employee (EFZ) and a degree as a certified Business Economist (HF), I combine technical expertise with business know-how.

Today, every RIDERA product is created based on this expertise – combined with countless test rides, my own experiences on the motorcycle, and honest feedback from the community. Because a good balaclava isn't created by chance, but through many small improvements.

Currently, all products are still handcrafted in small batches in Switzerland. In the long term, our goal is to offer even more motorcyclists the comfort that I myself sought for so long.
